Leaving a Message
You cannot be reached on your phone. You want any internal subscriber who calls you to get a message.
Requirement: The internal subscriber must have a phone capable of receiving messages.
Subscribers whose phone cannot receive messages are put through to your phone or rerouted to a des-
tination predefined within the system.
You can select the contents of your message from a list of 16 predefined texts. These texts can be edited
to suit your requirements. The predefined texts are specified in the system configuration.
Locking your Phone
You need to leave your desk and want to ensure that no-one can alter your phone's settings, look at your
private data, or make outside calls from your phone.
You can lock your phone with a 2 to 12 digit code, see "Changing the Code". The factory code setting
is 0000.
Press the Menu key repeatedly until the display shows "DIVERT".
DIVERT Press the "DIVERT" Foxkey.
/\ Press the "/\" Foxkey repeatedly until the display shows
"DIVERT TO MESSAGE".
OK Press the "OK" Foxkey.
The display shows a predefined message.
/\ To scroll through the predefined messages: Press the "/\" Foxkey.
To change a selected message: Use the digit keys and editing functions.
OK To activate a message: Press the "OK" Foxkey.
The display shows "MESSAGE ACTIVATED".
To deactivate a message: Press the Menu key until "RETRIEVE" appears.
CANCEL Press the "CANCEL" Foxkey.
Note
If you activate a call diversion, the message you have left on your phone will
be deactivated.
<long> Press the Menu key and hold it down for a moment.
The configuration mode is activated.
Press the Menu key repeatedly until the display shows "LOCK".
